Looking to make a splash in the Orlando market? The Grove Resort and Water Park is looking to hire a dynamic,

customer-centric sales manager that is excited to make a name for themselves! The Grove Resort & Water Park is a

gorgeous full-service resort located just 6 miles from some of Orlando’s largest theme parks. With over 875 luxury

units located on 105 acres of beautiful preserve, The Grove is a resort that you will be proud to represent. The

sales manager position is based on-site and pay is commiserate with experience and starts at $55,000 annually.

The position is eligible for full benefits and is also subject to a bonus plan quarterly and annually.

Required Skills

  • Previous sales experience in the hospitality industry. Orlando market experience a plus. Group sales

    experience a plus.

  • Salesforce/Delphi experience preferred, CRM system knowledge in general. Computer skills and general

    knowledge of WORD and Excel.

  • Ability to implement sales strategies and tactics for specific market segments.
  • Ability to create a marketing plan inclusive of identifying and soliciting new accounts and clients.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn electronic platforms for resort quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to establish and grow market share by developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Representing the resort professionally at various industry tradeshows and conferences.
  • Ability to adhere to guidelines of sales budget.
  • Self-motives player in a team environment with a can-do attitude!

    Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and contracting group business into the resort.
  • Developing market segment strategy to gain business.
  • Working within a team environment.
  • Entering all data (prospecting, appointments, and follow up) into the sales CRM system.
  • Growing market share in the group market segment.
  • Detailing contracted groups prior to their arrival.
  • Inviting potential clients to the property for tours.
  • Occasional social media posting.
  • Participation in sales blitzes.
  • Tracking booked and consumed group business at the resort in assigned market segment.

    Qualifications

    5 Years of experienced in a supervisory role. 3-4 years of experience in the hospitality industry or related field.
