Job Overview

The IT Manager is responsible for managing IT systems and Vendors, employee onboarding access, and technology projects from inception to completion. Requires the ability to design, bidding, and coordinating the implementation of technology systems and software upgrades for the hotel(s). This position will also support the Resort’s network and technology systems, as well as be the point of contact to escalate issues and outages. We are looking for a solution driven, detailed oriented individual with the ability to flip between multiple priorities. This person should have a passion for instilling a shared, enthusiastic commitment to customer service as a key driver of Spire’s culture.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Support the hotel’s environment, work with team members and managed service provider on issues and outages.
  • As escalation point of contact, work with operations on system outages and mitigate downtime by providing solutions.
  • Participate in Technology system contract negotiations to ensure both parties agree to reasonable terms when it comes to project deadlines and actual services provided.
  • Work with multiple teams simultaneously, and know how to address the needs of each team without stepping on the toes of other teams
  • As conflicts arise during implemantations be able to step in and manage conflict and ensuring the problem is solved before the quality of the project is compromised.
  • Responsible for communicating frequently with key stakeholders to report on the project’s overall progress. These reports typically include discussing any problems the teams.
  • Enhance and restructure relationships with national service suppliers
  • Promote cross-functional teaming across other business functions and initiatives.
  • Ensure strong working relationship remains with Procurement, AP, Accounting, Capital, Operations, and Food & Beverage, Sales, Reservations & revenue Management, to ensure a seamless integration between departments.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of virtual network environment.
  • Understand multiple networks and interfaces of a hotel.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience hotel operations, IT, or project management or similar educational experience.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have knowledge in project management software and or ticketing system
  • Proficient in MS Office including word, excel, outlook, and PowerPoint
